Another vote for Lee

From Michael's interview with NBC:
NBC: Now we're down to five. Some very interesting and distinct personalities are still in the race. Who should we be looking out for in the weeks ahead?

Michael Laungani: I think Lee is one person to watch. I believe he is a stand-up, honest guy who speaks his mind. He's smart and aggressive, and has out-of-the-box ideas. He plays the game well and he's been very strategic in the boardroom so far.

I'm not surprised Michael feels that way, though in the long version of his confession on Yahoo!, he did heavily endorse Tammy.

I still think Lee is in the final two because the finale had to be up from Friday 6/16 (after originally being moved from first Monday 6/12 and then Thursday 6/15 before being moved to Monday 6/5) because even though the finale was originally listed for Monday 6/12, there was absolutely, positively NO WAY IN THE WORLD NBC could have had the finale on Monday 6/12 as NBC has Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals that night (unless on Monday 6/12 NBC had planned to get enough clearence from affiliates to air the finale early in the east from 7:00-9:00 PM ET with Game 4 of the Finals after that at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT and the finale airing in the west after the game, which was highly unlikely).

Why do you keep posting that the finale was gonna be 6/15 and 6/16? Have you confirmed this with NBC? Please stick to proven facts or clearly state that it's only YOUR speculation. Your post is worded as if it's a 100% proven fact. But it's absolutely not.

Lee might be in the finals but your logic is loony!!!

Please let us know your source for knowing that it was scheduled for 6/16 and 6/15. Otherwise stick to the facts!

And to clarify:

What I think was the originally planned schedule, based on what we now know and what we previously did on scheduling, the original schedule for this season might have actually been this:

Premiere on February 27

Clip show on Monday, April 3 (night of the NCAA Championship Game on CBS).

7-Eleven Task on Monday, April 24 (before being moved up to April 17 and then April 10)

Last Monday episode on May 8 (which if then 7-Eleven Task was on April 24 would have then had the Hair Cuttery task on May 8).

Show possibly was then originally scheduled to move to Fridays starting May 19 (in "Las Vegas'" time slot, as "Las Vegas" has its season finale this week), with the task that aired Monday night (Rutgers U.) if so originally scheduled for that night.

Next Monday's task (Wal-Mart/Xbox 360) may have been originally scheduled for Friday, May 26.

Embassy Suites Task may have been originally scheduled for Friday, June 2.

Interviews/Final Four Task Part 1 may have been originally scheduled for Friday, June 9.

If those were the cases, the Finale may have then been originally scheduled for Thursday, June 15 or Friday, June 16 (as again, Monday 6/12 was never going to be the finale night due to Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals) before having to be moved up to Monday 6/5 due to Lee being in the final two and NBC having originally moved the finale to a Friday once realized a Thursday finale would have been airing directly opposite an NBA Finals game on ABC.

And as to why I think this is possible, I used to have regular communication with someone at another network, and we used to often discuss these kind of scheduling things.

I thought it was obvious this was my speculation all along. I NEVER ONCE said it was fact.

Wally - major flaws you continue to ignore -
1) all contestants are required to participate in the finalie and post-show parties, so it doesn't matter if Lee (or Dan) are in the final 2.

2) final 2 has been known since November - why would they schedule for a friday night... they are obviously VERY aware of Dan and Lee's situation after filming the show

I see where I wrote, making it look like it was fact where I thought it was clearly speculation, especially since I had made that clear previously. My apologies for that.

As for why the finale might have been on a Friday originally:

While Dan and Lee are Orthodox Jews and we all know that now, people at NBC who made the schedules may NOT have been aware of this at the time the original schedule for this season was made. Unless you know people who are Orthodox Jews and know all about the Sabbath as I do from having gone to a primairly Jewish school from 1981-'84, it may not occur to you how a Friday finale would have affected Lee and Dan, nor would you be expected to. I happen to know this, and coupled with other factors (most notably NBC having to keep dates open for Stanley Cup Finals Games and not wanting the finale to air opposite NBA Finals games on ABC), that's why I think NBC had moved the finale to a Friday before realizing how that would affect Lee and Dan.

All I have said has been speculation (which again, I thought had made clear earlier) EXCEPT for one thing that I do know: Monday, June 12 was almost certainly NEVER going to be the night of the finale, as NBC almost certainly has what we now know will be Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals that night.

I hope this finally clears this up.

Well I think that lee and roxanne are the last two for one reason and that is that if you look at lee and roxannes website both have a link to vote for them. The finale could be decided by the online poll. why would lee and roxanne be the only ones with links to vote for them. They both clearly right in their links "help donald pick the next apprentice. Tammy, SEan (doesn't have a website yet but neither did michael) and allie seem to not think the voting is important. This of course is all speculation so their is no need to criticize.

If Lee's willing to use a megaphone and collect money on Saturday, why wouldn't he party on Friday night?

Walt, I like the "may have been"'s you added in. Much better than the tone of your original comment.

Lee can always get a shabbes goyim to drive him home.
What's the big deal?
